Air-source heat pump technology reducing standby generator heating energy draw by up to 75% — the most efficient genset heater available.
Stallion engine coolant preheaters are designed to warm engine coolant before startup, helping diesel engines, generator sets and industrial equipment operate more reliably in low-temperature conditions. The range includes compact engine preheaters, inline coolant heaters and pump-assisted engine preheating systems for different engine sizes and installation requirements.
Available heating capacities range from 500W to 9000W, with DC 48V, AC 240V single-phase and AC 415V three-phase options. Depending on the selected model, the preheaters are suitable for engines from approximately 2 litres to 75 litres. Smaller models use 16mm coolant connections, while medium and high-capacity engine heaters use 1-inch NPT inlet and outlet connections.
Selected engine preheater models include temperature-control switches, digital control interfaces, alarm indications and integrated coolant circulation pumps. The range features IP44 protection, 10MΩ insulation resistance, 1800V voltage strength and heater chambers pressure tested to at least 0.5MPa, making it suitable for diesel generator preheating, industrial engine heating and cold-start applications.
Every aspect of the Energy Efficient Heater is designed to deliver maximum performance with minimum energy consumption.
Heat pump COP of up to 3.5 means for every 1kW of electricity consumed, up to 3.5kW of heat is delivered — dramatically cutting running costs.
Maintains waterjacket coolant at the optimal temperature 24/7, ensuring your generator achieves rated load within 10 seconds of start command.
Integrates directly with existing heater infrastructure. Minimal downtime during installation — typically completed within one working day.
Built-in connectivity allows real-time temperature monitoring and alerts — giving facility managers full visibility from anywhere.
Reduce your facility's carbon footprint by up to 28 tonnes of CO₂ per generator per year — supporting ESG targets without compromising reliability.
Published whitepapers with Avista Utilities and INFRA Science & Engineering validate typical payback periods of 2–4 years depending on energy tariff.
